It's $85 + cost of labs for your initial health and medication consultation. If you qualify, you may elect the Premier Package - $65/month and your prescription will be faxed to Premier Drugstore. Prescription can be picked up in Douglasville, GA or shipped to your home address (GA Residents).

Semaglutide & Tirzepatide are NPractice monthly membership packages. These memberships include the cost for ongoing treatment support (e.g., virtual visits, cost of medications, supplies, repeat labs, and an automated delivery of medication to your doorstep). Your monthly membership starts when your prescription is sent to the pharmacy.

Please note that GLP-1 medication and follow up labs are billed separately and not covered in the Premier  Package. Medication cost and labs will depend on your treatment and personal insurance coverage (please note insurance is not required). If you are uninsured the cost for labs at a Quest Diagnostics or Lab Corp Service Center is $65.00 - payable to NPractice, LLC.

Our partners will work directly with your insurance provider to help with the process of determining coverage for your GLP-1 medication. NPractice does not accept insurance for the Gold and Platinum Packages, which are debit/credit card payment only. Accepted Insurance includes: Cigna and UHC (effective 12/2023).

Laboratory (metabolic) testing is required to participate in NPractice Medical Weight Loss program. It allows your provider to understand your metabolism to create a treatment plan that's appropriate for you. Your NPractice provider will look at the following labs: CBC, CMP, Thyroid Panel, Lipid Panel, and Hemoglobin A1c.

Depending on how you choose to take your lab/metabolic test, the price will vary. If you have recent bloodwork, you may be eligible to waive the one-time lab fee.

You can use your insurance to test at any Quest location. Quest is in-network with most major insurers, but out-of-pocket costs will vary based on your insurance plan and deductible. If you are without insurance coverage, you may have your labs collected at Lab Corp. If you test at Lab Corp, the cash price $65 and paid to NPractice.

You can also purchase an at-home collection through NPractice for $155. At-home collection is available for Georgia (GA) residents only.

After you complete your initial consultation, a NPractice provider will determine whether treatment may be right for you. If appropriate, we'll ask you to complete lab/metabolic testing so we can see how your body's working right now. Next, you'll go over the results of your test with your healthcare provider and discuss a personalized treatment plan.

At Npractice, we understand that achieving and maintaining a healthy weight is a unique and personal journey. Our Medical Weight Loss Program is designed to provide you with comprehensive, personalized, and medically supervised support to help you reach your weight loss goals. Medical weight loss programs also often include prescription medications. These new weight loss injections are an integral component in losing and keeping off weight when they're combined with a health diet and exercise.

Medical weight loss programs typically start with a healthcare provider ordering certain blood test and asking you questions about your medical history and weight loss goals. After that, a healthcare professional prescribes weight loss medication, if medically appropriate, and monitors your progress in the months to come. All this can be done through NPractice platform, without visiting a doctor's office.

The medical rationale for weight loss is that obesity is a serious, chronic, and progressive disease and is associated with a significant increase in mortality and many health risks including type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and coronary heart disease. The benefits of weight loss include a reduction in the rate of progression from impaired glucose tolerance to diabetes, blood pressure in hypertensive patients, and lipid levels in higher risk patients. Other noncardiac benefits of weight loss include reductions in urinary incontinence, sleep apnea, and depression, as well as improvements in quality of life, physical functioning, and mobility.

NPractice can help you lose weight by pairing highly effective weight-loss medication with healthy lifestyle changes for long-lasting and sustainable weight loss. After you complete an initial consultation and lab/metabolic testing, NPractice- affiliated healthcare provider can prescribe medications like compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, as appropriate. They'll be available for ongoing support and assistance as you start your medication.

If you're prescribed a branded GLP-1 medication and coverage is denied, we'll help you understand your options, including purchasing compounded medication . If you are prescribed compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, you'll pay with a debit/credit card (Semaglutide/ Tirzepatide Packages include compounded meds) and avoid the insurance hassle.
